Q. How do adoptees, adopters, natural parents, and social workers feel about us outsiders in the adoption section?

A. Im with Pip one this one... I really don't have a problem with " outsiders" as you put it , Being in the adoption section, Just as long as their not trying to impose their beliefs on the people that were affected by adoption... Some of them truly want to understand more about adoption , And how it affects the adoptee and the bio mom... Im all for people knowing the truth about the adoption system and all the people they have screwed over for the last 60 yrs... Love Few, Hate Many, Trust No One...

A. Okay, sorry to tangent here, but you can't possibly know that. Are you psychic? No, so you can't read minds. Just because she doesn't talk to you doesn't mean that she doesn't think about you. That aside, you impress her like you would any other girl. Be kind, and considerate, and genuine. Pay attention to her, help her with things, and SMILE. Good luck!

What do I have to know about shipping a live animal between the US and Mexico?
Q. I know we have a free trade agreement. Does that mean the animal will be relatively low cost to ship? How long will it be held up in customs? Will it die there?
Asked by Josh Silver - Sat Jul 17 21:05:37 2010 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Nafta ia for commercial trade and has nothing to so with an individual shipping an animal to Mexico. Sure wish you had said what kind of animal. Some cannot be brought into Mexico and others require a license. If it is a cat or dog, it needs a current shot record and rabies shot and an international health exam record..including a statement that the animal has been checked for parasites and has none. You can use any of the American airlines that fly to Mexico or you can use a pet transport service. They would most likely be able to help you with regulations in case the animal is not a dog or cat.

What about US Military suicides?
Q. Much talk recently in the media about this tragedy. Admittedly, it is that. 135 such deaths already this year; 32 in the month of July alone. But whereas the commentary focuses on the psychological aspects that lead to military suicide, what I find confusing is the assumption that this is "news", and attempts to relate the phenomenon directly to today's conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The fact is that this had already become prevalent during and after the Vietnam War, at least. A 1990 article in the London 'Observer' said, "...in the 15 years since the end of this futile war, more US servicemen have died as a result of suicide (60,000), than were killed by all reasons combined during the conflict itself (55,000).". So the question… [cont.]

A. BRAVO (((Hemp))) --- a truly insightful, inspired, and compassionate answer; an impressive gem of a response. ... Couldn't have possibly said it better or more eloquently myself. It's rare treasures like this that keeps me coming back to this otherwise hellhole of a place. And a special thanks to YOU (((Titou))) for a truly relevant and timely question. Here's to all the innocent civilians, and our maimed and fallen brothers and sisters in arms who've had to pay the price of our political insanity --- and all in the name of oil, power, money, greed, and religion; a crime against humanity, set into motion by a despicable gang of warmongering, fear-peddling monsters. .

A. Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory of the United States of America. Everyone living in Puerto Rico at a certain time and date (I'm not sure what it was) became American citizens, and thereafter, anyone born in Puerto Rico is automatically an American citizen. Its the same for where I am from, the US territory of Guam in the Pacific Ocean. I'm an American and I'm damned proud of it. I'm sure any number of Puerto Ricans feel the same way I do.

Help!! im really confused about us?
Q. He said only time will tell? Well basically, to make a long story short. Its summer vacation. My parents are divorced, so this summer was my turn to see my mom. Well, anyway, I spent the 2nd to last day at his house, and that night he started crying and held me saying "you'll always be in my heart. I love you so much" and then I saw him the next day for a few hours before leaving to San Diego to be with my mom. Well, things were fine. It was the same and everything was great. Than, after 4th of July he changed. He said he wanted to take a break. Then the next day he cancelled it because he didn't want to hurt me anymore and tht he loved me. And he has summer school and I told him "what if you cheat on me" and he said "I could never do… [cont.]

What to do about horrible neighbours/can they get us kicked out?
Q. okay so i live in an apartment with my mother and across the hall lives this girl i used to go to school with who hates me because i apparently ignored her (which i did not but that's another story) and her mother. they have placed a lot of noise complaints (we are NOT loud) to try to get us kicked out and it's gotten to the point where we've gotten a written warning. the most recent thing and the thing that is on my mind right now, is that she just bitched my mother out because my mother's friend accidently wrote the wrong apartment number on a card she gave my mother so it went to the people across the hall. she started saying to my mother about how it's a "federal offence to use other people's mailboxes" and that she was going to "t [cont.]
