lionel fasttrack layouts?
Q. I'm wanting to set up a large train layout...mostly mountains, some towns. i've failed at ho and n gauge because I always have problems laying the track. I'm thinking about going to lionel and the fasttrack option. any opinions on using fasttrack? can anyone recommend a book with lots of layouts that will tell me what track needs purchased, ect? the train is secondary to the scene. i guess i'm looking for computer software specific to lionel fastrack

Get someone to show you what your doing wrong. Maybe help them on their layout to get the feel for how it is done correctly. I have a friend that has a layout that takes the WHOLE basement of his house, except for the water heater and furnace. He had a stroke and he STILL put in his own track. If he can do it there is not any reason you can't.

A. In order to make sure that a broker is reliable, you should check to see if they are member FINRA and member SIPC. If you want something that is cheap, go for an online discount brokerage firm. However, you should make sure that you pick one that is easy to use. There are several deep discount brokers out there that are really cheap but they may be very difficult to use. For example, Interactive Brokers is infamous for its complicated website and Zecco is known for it's poor customer service. I currently use Firstrade They cater to beginners and are relatively cheap. As for what to trade, I would recommend that you try investing in ETFs since they are less risky and beginner-friendly.

my m-audio fasttrack 4x4 interface will only record on one side?
Q. i have an m-audio fasttrack pro 4x4 audio interface. i have been recording on ableton live using the ASIO driver. for some reason, when i plug in with direct input it only records into one side (eg, if you were listening with earphones it would only be in one ear) no matter what. to help this out, i would record 2 mics at the same time, one for each ear. i cant do that with guitars though. i have tried everything i can think of to solve this problem, but for some reason it will not record into both sides. how can i make it record into both? or possibly it could be a driver issue... i'm using ableton live suite 8.0.4.

Otherwise a little known german clinet known as kceasy connects to Gnutella, OpenFT and Ares networks. It also had support for Fasttrack although this has been discontinued because of legal reasons. Also ive heard bad things about the FastTrack network so id stick to Gnutella, Ares and ed2k. Or go over to Bit torrent.
